OREOS! To some, a delightful treat (especially with peanut butter spread on top), to others an entirely overrated cardboard biscuit.

The standard Oreo is good, the Double Stuff ones are better, and the fancy flavoured ones are a bit hit and miss.

National Doughnut Week is all about raising funds for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury… and doughnuts, of course.

When a friend suggested a surf and yoga holiday in Morocco, I wasn’t sure package holidays were my thing.

It kind of conjured up images of mass tourist outings, bad food and stress over being ripped off.

Surf and yoga are two things I’ve never properly tried before (downward dog always makes me giggle) plus Africa sounds wonderfully exotic but expensive.

I’m a feminist. 

(You are too if you believe that men and women deserve equal treatment, but that’s a conversation for another day)

The point is, I’m a fully fledged march-going, pussy hat wearing, Women’s Equality voting, paid up feminist.

But, unlike most of the other feminists I know, I wasn’t in the least bit troubled by Phillip May’s statement yesterday that in her household there are ‘girl’ jobs and ‘boy’ jobs.
