Brits haven’t got the best reputation as tourists. We’re loud, we drink, we’re awful at languages, and we have a history of starting fights at football matches.

It’s rare to walk past your local skate park in summer and not be hit with the heavy, cloying smell of teenagers sharing a joint.

Now one company is taking that weed/skating connection to the next level – by making skateboards out of cannaboids. Oh, and they say they’re saving the planet in the process.

Slovenian startup Rolkaz Collective has launched a crowdfunding campaign to make skateboarding greener (sorry) with boards made out of natural hemp.
