Instagram has had its fair share of strange and idiotic fitness fads.

Ab cracks. Ribcage bragging. Thigh gap selfies.

But there’s one trend that might actually be genuinely great for us and it’s becoming something of a viral phenomenon.

A gelato festival is coming to London next month to satisfy all your summer dreams

‘Alien Yoga’ has taken fitspo channels by storm, in the form of videos showing strange stomach contortions.

Traditionally known as Nauli, it’s a yoga move that’s been around for centuries and it involves exhaling completely before isolating the abdomen and… Read the full story

We went to sleep one night and when we woke up, Khloe Kardashian had become the pinnacle of all things ‘clean eating’ and ‘fitness’.

So the entire country of Sweden is on Airbnb so that's fun

Great, everyone needs a passion and a hobby. It’s important to remember all her fitness and nutrition recommendations are just that, recommendations from someone with a passion and hobby and should be taken with a grain a salt (and a shot of wheatgrass).

With that in mind, we can’t deny that we were falling over ourselves to read Khloé’s latest blog, her fast-food survival guide.

She says in… Read the full story

Most of us probably can’t imagine having to turn to a foodbank.

Others, many of whom lurk anonymously in comment sections or on social media, will go so far as to suggest that those who do rely on donations have brought it on themselves and don’t deserve the charity.

Vicky Charles from Salisbury was one of those who never thought she would need to turn to her local foodbank, but found herself in difficulties when she was on maternity leave.

She feels the stereotypical view of a foodbank user, summed up by a Question Time audience member as mostly people who ‘smoke, drink, and have Sky… Read the full story

Disneyland unveils new dessert combining two classic favourites

It’s home to magical characters, fun attractions and of course, so much nostalgia. It’s not just for children, it’s every Disney-loving adult’s dream (aka me).

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, there’s the food. A rather marvellous and somewhat magical concoction of our favourite foods, to be precise.

If you love your ice cream, then you might want to make sure you’re around next month.

Because a gelato festival is coming to London in June where gelato makers will go head to head to have their offerings officially voted the cream of the crop.

Is there any better place than a library to go to relax and indulge in a good book?

Of course, you can always go to a coffee shop, but where is the fun or magic in that?

It’ll be full of people Instagramming their fancy drinks, or mums having loud conversations over screaming babies about potty training.

No, you’re better off heading to one of these beautiful libraries and sitting in blissful silence, with the only interruption being the rustling of pages from fellow converts.

25 free activities to do outdoors with kids

Kids can turn into pretty expensive hobbies.

People seem to schedule their children’s time minute by minute; from football classes to gymnastics lessons, cooking clubs to art classes – and these are just the after-school ones.

Holidays and weekends, too,  are becoming a non-stop calendar list of events, with day trips to castles, amusement parks, soft play and the cinema.

Don’t get me wrong, my kids do many of those activities, but with three of them it is simply too expensive to do it all the time and the logistics would make it impossible.

When I look back at my childhood we pretty much did nothing – we played in the garden and… Read the full story

I have always, as long as I can remember, been a girl’s girl.

Maybe it’s going to all girl boarding school, or maybe it’s being from a female-dominated family, but either way, I’m all about the ladies.

That said, in just under six weeks, when I marry my fiance, that’s probably the expiration date on ‘hoes over bros’.

Once you’re married you’re supposed to put your husband first. You’re a team. And while that doesn’t mean telling all your gals to get f*cked, it does, I’m told, change your friendships.

The silver lining to this scary prospect (which I fully intend to fight against) is the hen party.

Pregnancy is a beautiful, incredible experience.

Women are making their baby bumps disappear with the Bloom Method

It’s also, to be totally honest, really weird. The kicking through the skin, the fact you’re growing a whole second set of organs. All odd.

But last week a video surfaced which brought a whole new level of pregnancy strangeness into our lives. It features trainer Rachel making her baby bump almost disappear before reappearing.

She does this exercise (or magic trick) by using her stomach muscles to push the foetus upwards into her rib cage. (This isn’t for the squeamish).

That, quite frankly, is an unforgivable sin – a sin that Snow White soon came to learn after approaching a little girl who was just trying to enjoy her food.

Katrell Hunter shared a video of a little girl, Kaylin who was half-way through a large bowl of mac ‘n’ cheese.

We all know that models are heavily photoshopped.

Very little of what you see on billboards and in magazines real – hours go into blending out spots and cutting chunks off legs to create that all important thigh gap.

Which is why it’s important that people like body positivity campaigner and model Iskra Lawrence have dedicated their careers to calling the industry out over their body-shaming practices.

On Monday, she shared a seven-year-old photo of herself modelling for a lingerie campaign.

Now a size 14, she looks barely recognisable thanks to heavy airbrushing.

In fact, he has at least another two years to grow to his full potential.

And that could mean him becoming Britain’s largest bunny.

It’s not too surprising – his dad Darius is the world’s biggest rabbit at an astonishing 4ft 4in.

Dexter is only 3ft long in comparison, but there’s plenty of time for him to outgrow his dad.
