*Sobs*

For the record, A Walk To Remember was the best ever 00s teen movie. Fact.

It was based on a book by romantic expert Nicholas Sparks, and it’s actually way better than the much loved The Notebook.

This movie had it ALL – singing, a great plot twist, teenage rebellion, star watching, and, importantly, Shane West, aka total swoon.

It was different to your average because it wasn’t all about a bet, or a makeover, or a prom, but it actually looked at real issues, like faith, illness, and divorce.

She was a certified pop princess and fashion icon, what with her pedal pushers and love of butterfly clips.

When it comes to sexual positions, missionary gets a pretty bum deal.

It’s not as intense as doggy, as ‘sexy’ as the reverse cowgirl or as exotic as the lotus; it’s the comfy sweater of sexual positions.

25 things all women think when you go down on them

However, while you may think yourself a bit tame for favouring the missionary above others, actually, there are plenty of reasons why it is the best sexual position there is.

From the intensity of eye contact to the G-spot arousal potential, here are 12 reasons why missionary is the best position… Read the full story

Acne can be a complete b*tch.

It can plague you for years or it can come on suddenly. And when it turns up in adulthood, it’s particularly distressing.

Iskra Lawrence is sharing old 'airbrushed' photos to show that perfection doesn't exist

While training for the marathon, I broke out in acne all over my chin and lower cheeks.

I was eating cleaner than I had done in years. I was working out vigorously every day. I was showering regularly.

What the hell was going on?

Hormones, my friends, hormones.

This is something that Joshua Robinson Levine, a freshman at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, had in mind and executed to perfection when he was set an assignment in which he was to research and argue for a social issue of his choice.

The essay was for his rhetoric and composition course, in which he chose to write about the Dakota Access Pipeline, and the ongoing protests Native Americans and… Read the full story

Nokia 3310s were the greatest phones ever.

They were just the right size. They had ever-lasting batteries. They had a vigorous vibration.

It’s because of all those incredible features, they’re now apparently serving an alternative use: as dildos.

According to a tiny study of 100 Indian women by sex-positive group, Agents of Ishq, women are using their Nokia phones as a substitute for hard-to-find sex toys.

And obviously, it’s doing the rounds on the internet because we all want to believe that those nostalgic bits of technology gold are… Read the full story

How’s your day? (Picture: Dave Anderson for Metro.co.uk)

When the clouds finally part and the mercury rises, we long-suffering breeders at last get a chance to gloat.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: having kids is a pain in the arse.

Think of the broken sleep, the tantrums, and the daily hell of potty training. Ye gods, potty training is vile.

Teaching my kid good manners is really f****** boring

Plus, it gets lonely.

As the sole stay-at-home dad among my inner circle of friends, I confess I’ve fantasised several times about having my old life back.

The hurly-burly of a busy workplace, the intoxicating thrum of industry, the camaraderie of close-knit colleagues battling nightmarish… Read the full story

One of the main reasons that some women fancy other women is because men get off on the idea of lesbianism, a new ‘scientific’ study is claiming.

Academics from the University of Nicosia have been trying to work out why lesbianism exists (?!) and after extensive research, they’ve concluded that it may have come about as a result of guys getting hot and bothered at the thought of women banging.

Fifty Shades Of Grey has raised a lot of questions about sub sex (Picture: PA)

We all recognise the popular image of submissive men who worship women and get off on being dominated.

I wrote about it recently and had many positive responses from people saying they totally understood the motives. So why is it that submissive women are often perceived very differently?

Why do people visit a dominatrix? These men explain the appeal

When I spoke of my intention to write an article about submissive women, I was surprised by the negative reaction.

No, getting base tan won’t help protect you against sunburn

We’ve all got mates who insist on having a sunbed before they go on holiday.

They don’t want their alarmingly alabaster skin (which hasn’t seen the light since last year) to blind people on the beach.

White men are being replaced in classical paintings with black women

And more than that, they want to get a pre-vacation tan to protect themselves from sunburn.

It’s an age-old trope: tan a little quickly to avoid burning a lot slowly.

But if that’s your holiday ritual, it’s time to give it up.

Because according to a study published in the journal Photodermatology, Photoimmunology & Photomedicine,… Read the full story

Like most other things, the 90s just did everything so much better, and the books those of us who grew up then read were a part of this.

A childhood during that era wasn’t complete without a visit to the Schloastic Book Fair during a rainy lunchtime at school, or shifting a backpack full of volumes from the library, or just pinching some fiction out of an older sibling’s room.

90s kids didn’t have to concern themselves with things like Gangsta Granny, because we had classics like Give Yourself Goosebumps, which was, of course, way better.

Alarmingly, women are way more embarrassed about menstruation than men.

One in five British women under 40 are too embarrassed about their periods to talk about them with their female friends, a new study has found.

Meet Dexter: the 10-month-old rabbit who's set to become Britain's biggest bunny

In a YouGov poll of 2,140 people commissioned by ActionAid, 37% of men said that they’d feel comfortable discussing periods with anyone, compared with just 21% of women.

Even more bizarrely, 50% of the guys surveyed said they’d be completely cool with buying sanitary products for women – yet 16% of women would be too embarrassed to ask them to do so.

And that’s not all.

How comfortable are people talking about periods?
