Finally, a realistic solution to Britain’s housing crisis.

Thanks to this teeny town that’s been especially made for hamsters, all we need to do is shrink down to rodent size.

Britain's longest-married couple have been reunited for their 80th wedding anniversary

Sound good?

Once you’ve seen how perfect this miniature municipality is, you’ll totally be on board.

A creation of designer and crafting artist Sophia Antidze along with a team of illustrators, photographers and directors, The Hungry Hungry Hamsters is an online series featuring the rodents just going about town and doing hamster stuff.

Will sweaty backs become something only to be nostalgic about? (Picture: Presti Technologies/Kickstarter)

I’m no fan of heavy handbags (think of your back, people), but there’s one little problem with backpacks.

This pet monkey is all of us when someone brushes our hair

A significant problem; back sweat.

If you’re wearing a backpack, that usually means you’ve got to carry a lot of things.

And if you’re carrying a lot of things, you’re probably having to travel relatively far.

Thus nature’s punishment is inflicted upon you; a visibly sweaty back.

So you’ll be happy to hear that a gadget has been invented specifically… Read the full story

63-year-old grandma says pole dancing has helped improve her body confidence

It’s all fun and games while you’re drinking Pimms in the sunshine, but then evening comes. Spending an entirely night flailing around your bed, desperately trying to imagine how much you wanted this weather back in February, is not fun. And it’s not conducive to any kind of refreshing sleep.

Happily, the sleep experts at Warren Evans shared some pro sleep tips with us, and we’ve put together an official guide to managing to sleep when it’s silly temperatures and you don’t have… Read the full story

School girls are missing out on PE and school sports due to a fear of people finding out that they’re on their periods.

According to new research by period education programme, betty for schools, nearly 50% of women say they’ve used their period as an excuse to skip PE.

Blogger claps back in the best way after being told she didn't look like a mum

The main reasons include a fear of leaking (39%) and a fear of pads slipping (24%).

I started self-harming by cutting myself superficially as a teenager.

When I was struggling with it, I felt deeply alone. Unfortunately, the stats show that self-harm is prevalent and the situation is getting worse.

‘I wanted to control my emotions’: We chat anorexia and self-harm in our new podcast, Mentally Yours

Around 13% of young people (aged 11-16) are self-harming and there was an increase in 10-14 year olds attending A&E with self-harm related injuries between 2010 and 2012.

Self-harm includes a range of deliberate behaviours including cutting, burning, bruising by hitting objects, breaking bones, inserting objects into… Read the full story

There’s no feeling quite like having your hair brushed by someone else.

When there are no knots, having someone comb your hair and give your scalp a bit of a massage is heavenly.

Walkie talkies were one of the greatest gadgets we had as a kid.

Girls are being held back from participating in school sports due to period fear

But eventually, we had to accept that you just grow out of these things.

Until now.

Some genius has created an avocado-shaped walkie talkie, meaning that it’ll finally be acceptable for millennials to use them once again.

Called the Guac-e Talk-e Walkie-Talkie, it’s a hand-molded avocado radio made in Guatemala City – the true heart of avocado country (no, not East London).

It’s described as your ‘standard, two-way radio – only… Read the full story

As a sex writer, I’ve occasionally been called a ‘sexpert’.

Which was usually accompanied by a joke about how ‘I’m not sure what kind of qualifications you’re supposed to have for that.’

Louie the 132-year-old lobster has finally been freed after 20 years in a restaurant

Only now there is an actual qualification you could get. So if you’re hoping to make a career out of being incredible in bed, you’re in luck.

Bath College, which is (unsurprisingly) in Bath, are offering the course which covers sexual identity, sex toy knowledge and sexual health issues.

Pole dancing is hard. Really hard.

It requires a core of steel, strong glutes and some innate pizzazz.

Britain's longest-married couple have been reunited for their 80th wedding anniversary

But if you think it’s exclusively a young person’s activity, think again.

Lyn Dellavedova, 63, took up pole dancing in 2010 having done no gymnastics or dancing previously.

‘When I walked into the class, I nearly walked straight back out again,’ says the great-grandma from Victoria, Australia.

But in the next episode of gin-related adventures, you can soon jump aboard a gin train.

Yep – departing from London, you can ‘travel’ from Java to Ghana to Tuscany, sipping on a selection of gin cocktails all along the way.

I say ‘travel’ because you won’t technically leave the capital; rather than a fully-functioning steam train you can board an ‘immersive… Read the full story
