We’ve all opened an answers booklet to find page after page of equations swimming around meaninglessly.

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale has found herself in the middle of an Instagram storm, after commenting on a picture of herself with the words ‘urgh, I was so fat.’ 

There’s a litany of reasons why Lucy’s comment is a problem, not least of which is that she is one of five stars on a drama which is primarily consumed by teenagers. (And adults who still think they’re teenagers, like me.)

I hate the idea of using role model status to bash talented young women, even if she did say something pretty foolish.

It seems utterly unfair to project an expectation of behaviour on a woman because she’s got a high profile job. We certainly don’t do it to young male stars.

But Cassie Gee isn’t like most infants.

Disability campaigners aren’t pleased with Smith & Cult’s ‘Wax Spastic’ eyeliner

She creates amazing swirl paintings which she sells through her Etsy store and website – and they’re incredible.

Based in Sydney, Cassie has been a ‘professional artist’ since the age of three (according to her website), and she uses a combination of acrylic paint, resin and glitter to create galaxy-esque landscapes.
