A beauty brand has been slammed by disability campaigners and beauty bloggers for its “offensive” eyeliner name.

Despite a Twitter backlash and shops refusing to stock it, Smith & Cult has defended itself after launching a line of products called ‘Wax Spastic’.

Philip Connolly, policy manager of Disability Rights UK told metro.co.uk the name is ‘unbelievably offensive’.

Barbie doll is often used as a short-hand for cookie cutter beauty. 

Everyone knows that Barbie is thin, and blonde, and embodies the Eurocentric ideals of beauty.

On the 17th of June, the Humane Rescue Alliance held their annual Bark Ball, a fundraiser in which attendees take their four-legged friends along for a night of wining and dining, to raise money for the organisation.
