Crowded rooms have been cited as the most common everyday trigger for panic attacks among UK adults.

A national study of 1,000 panic attack sufferers conducted by panic attack specialists bcalm found the crowded rooms are even more anxiety-provoking that being on a plane.

Over a third of participants said that crowded rooms were their top trigger, with men being almost 20% more likely that women to be panicked by one.
