People are questioning McDonald’s’ advertising attempts after one Londoner came across a sign placed directly outside of a Burger King restaurant.

Why do we stay hooked on social media when it makes us feel like sh*t?

Scott Reid was passing through Tottenham Court Road, London, when he noticed a not-so-subtle McDonald’s sign strapped to a lamp post opposite Burger King.

The sign indicated that customers looking for some fast food should do a U-turn, and was accompanied with the words: ‘You’ve just passed us’, in what seems like an attempt to prevent potential customers getting their fast food from Burger King instead.

Scott snapped… Read the full story

Stretch marks are VERY common. Let’s stop being surprised by them (Picture: Getty)

We shouldn’t be surprised when we see stretch marks in photos.

And yet, when ASOS stopped airbrushing out their models’ tiger stripes, the internet noticed.

ASOS hasn’t been editing out models’ stretchmarks and people are loving it

Stretch marks are nothing new. They’ve existed for as long as humans have. Seeing them on bikini-clad women shouldn’t be news.

But sadly, the only time we see stretch marks in the media are usually when they’re in a red circle of shame in a women’s magazine.

These magazines might claim that they’re just showing readers that even the most… Read the full story

For all the people who are leaving their vagina be, letting it do its thing, and not shoving all manner of nonsense up there, we’re sorry. We’re sure it must seem like all we talk about is things that obviously should not be placed into your nether regions.

But the reality is, there are people who are putting jade eggs, balls of herbs, ozone gas, wasp nests, and all other ridiculous things into their vaginas. Hopefully not all at the same time, but you never know.

Attention, attention, any man who’s suggested that a woman shouldn’t be president because she’d make sh*t decisions while on her period, who’s suggsted their female boss is menstruating when they make a decision, or who’d dismissed their girlfriend’s thoughts because there happens to be some blood coming out of her vagina.

Fired fashion director Lucinda Chambers says she hasn't read Vogue in years

Finally, a study is here to smack down the belief that being on her period makes a woman less competent.

Brands, this is why you need to get more women working for you.

Not for their skills, wit, and talent, obviously,* but because women will be able to instantly recognise when a design looks like a period product.

*That’s a joke. Please hire women for reasons beyond their ability to play ‘spot the tampon’.

11 reasons to finally book that flight to Sri Lanka

I first visited Sri Lanka in 2014. I was only supposed to stay for a couple of weeks, but ended up not leaving for two months.

Fired fashion director Lucinda Chambers says she hasn't read Vogue in years

There was something about the lush palm trees, bathwater-warm ocean and laid-back locals that captured my heart.

Away from the cities, the pace was slow and the lifestyle relaxed. It was just what I needed after a hectic time in India.

I had friends in the tiny, south-coast surf-town of Midigama so headed straight down there and… didn’t leave. We surfed, napped and read books by day, then drank Lion beers by night. I was living my best life.

I went back for a few months earlier this year, and managed to prise myself away from the coast to explore more of the island. Holy hell, I’m glad I’m did. Sri Lanka is the island that truly has… Read the full story

There’s no denying that the world loves wine.

Okay people, we have a #TheDress situation on our hands here, and this time, it’s coming to us in the form of Nike sportswear.

People can't decide whether this Nike sportswear is grey and blue or pink and white

If you’re not familiar with #TheDress (and in which case, have you been living under a rock over the past year?), it was basically a confusing phenomenon, as some people saw the dress as being white and gold and others saw it as being blue and black.
