New research suggests that when we put sunscreen on our faces, we tend to miss around 10% of our skin, failing to apply the cream around our eyelids and sensitive areas.

Researchers from the University of Liverpool asked 57 people to apply sun cream to their face.

Afterwards, a UV-sensitive camera took pictures of where the sun cream had actually been applied.
