This is Lara.

She’s a rescue puppy who is keen on helping other dogs less fortunate than herself.

Do contraceptive pills expire?

Now eight months old, she was rescued from the streets of Brazil by owner Suelen Shaumloeffel.

And she clearly remembers how tough street life was because when she saw a homeless dog on a cold evening, she dragged her new blanket out to share it with him.

Time for some honesty: I have never, ever, not once, looked at the expiry date on my contraceptive pill.

I never really thought about checking. I get prescribed three or six months’ worth, take ’em over the next three to six months, and assume that my doctor’s timed the prescription well enough that the pills won’t go bad in the meantime.

I found being a teenager pretty tough. All those raging hormones, the feeling of never quite ‘fitting in’, the pressure to do well at school, the joy and pain of first love…

In fact, I think the only thing that kept me sane was reading.

When 19-year-old Kai Johnson returned from a family outing to find smashed glass all over the conservatory, he knew there could only be one culprit – his three-year-old pug, Alfie.

Back in March, Molson the twelve-year-old Golden Retriever was diagnosed with terminal cancer, after vets found a tumour in his nose.

Molson was given just three months to live.

Do contraceptive pills expire?

His owner, Tim Griffin, decided to give Molson the farewell he deserved, creating a bucket list for the two of them to complete together before the end of Molson’s life, to make sure they make the most of their final days together.

Tim came up with the bucket list with the help of his kids, Elliot, eight, and Chloe, ten, as well as asking for suggestions from other dog lovers.

My seven-year-old has less than two weeks left in the infants before he moves up to the juniors in September.

It seems no time at all since I was busy sewing up the hem of his school trousers on the first day of Reception because they were far too long. Or since he was learning his alphabet and reading Biff and Chip books on repeat.

Chipotle fans are finally getting what they’ve been craving for so long: queso cheese sauce.

The chain is notoriously lacking in cheese sauces for its burritos and bowls. They’ve always maintained the ingredients needed in queso to perfect its texture are too artificial.
