Kit Kats can be incredibly controversial, because it seems nobody eats them the same way.

But rubber ducks? Well, they don’t fare much better either.

One intrepid Twitter user in Japan by the name of @shiohitoshi found that out the hard way.

Taking his beloved plastic quacker out of the bath and on a joyride, he gave his pal pride of place on top of the stereo.

Except he forgot to factor in the heat of a Japanese summer.
