You’ll soon be able to buy tax-free sanitary products at Tesco, after the retailer became the first to pay the tampon tax on behalf of their customers.

That means that nearly 100 products like tampons, pads and liners- considered ‘luxuries’ under the current tax conditions – will be cheaper.
