Being pregnant is a bit sh*t, really.

Yes, you get a baby at the end of it, and you get to spend nine months being a walking embodiment of the miracle of life. Which is pretty cool, I guess.

But that glow everyone bangs on about? It’s mostly sweat.

Your feet are swollen, your back aches, your boobs have made even your most giant smock dresses a poor fit, and you feel nauseous well beyond the window of morning sickness.

Well no, I’m wrong. Because having more than about four is unmanageable and unless you’ve got a team of helpers, you can’t possibly give them the attention they need.
