For those born outside of London, the North/South divide can be a hard thing to get their head around. They get us confused quite easily and it can cause some jovial frustration.

As a born and bred South Londoner, I thought it would be best to draft a little fail safe list of signs that can be used to spot a South Londoner.

Here it is.

1. They will call it ‘indoors’, not ‘at home’.

‘Have you got a jacket?’ ‘Nah, I left it indoors’.

2. They will use the ‘f’ word as an adjective.

‘How are you?’ ‘I’m f-ing marvellous mate’

3. They will pronounce ‘day’ like ‘dee’.

‘Yeah, I’ll see ya Thursdee’

4. They are still mildly obsessed with UK Garage.

And constantly refer to… Read the full story

‘How do you strive to make others happy?’ (Picture: Pornhub)

Help can come from unexpected places.

Alongside keeping busy giving porn to the people, Pornhub are now focusing their energies on philanthropic efforts, launching a new subbranch called Pornhub Cares.

As part of their doing good stuff, they’re offering out a $25,000 (£16,300) scholarship to one lucky college student – enough to cover a year of university in the US.

To apply, all students have to do is form a short video answering the question ‘how do you strive to make others happy?’ Go on, go deep.

The competition is open to prospective students in any field, rather than having a specific focus for careers in the porn industry.

You might be allowed to drink, drive, vote and all that jazz at 18, but a new study says Brits don’t really feel like proper grown-ups until we hit 29.

The research carried out by Beagle Street life insurance shows that we’re all basically big kids at heart, still watching cartoons and children’s films.

Well, let’s be honest, Frozen is amazing.

Other factors that are preventing us from letting go of our adolescence include refusing to settle for ‘a real job’, whatever that is, and living at home longer.

In the game of cuteness, only one can can win.

Do enjoy this video of a cute dog, called Arne Doodle (brilliant name) battling to the death with a blow-up Minion. It gets pretty fierce. Who knows who will win.

It seems like an equal fight, with Arne and Kevin the Minion holding their own. But then, at the last minute, Kevin delivers a knock out blow.

Don’t worry, Arne Doodle survived. He will recover. Maybe not his pride, but hey.

We’ve all been there.

Welcome to the next stage of educating Americans in the ways of sub-standard British dining.

As if they weren’t already confused enough by the concept of a Cheeky Nando’s, now there’s a song for them to get their heads around.

Cheeky Nandos by Peri Boyz (aka Vujanic, Mim and Klayze) is dedicated to those who like their chicken medium spiced, their soft drinks unlimited, their jeans skinny, and their Air Max box-fresh.

It features the immortal lines ‘I’ve got a bottomless drink and a line in my head. I’ll take a rice and garlic bread,’ and ‘halloumi? Come through with me Julie.’

MORE: We don’t care how cheeky it is, Nando’s is disgusting and must be stopped

Because there’s nothing people who love Nando’s enjoy more than telling people about their love of Nando’s. Oh, okay, except PERinaise. They really love that stuff.

Food is great. Puns are great. So a food-themed pun map of the United States of America, as random as it may be, is brilliant in our books.

A year and a bit ago, Foodiggity creator Chris Durso and his son, Cameron, started creating ‘The Foodnited States’ – a recreation of each of the 50 American states made entirely out of food, with a pun theme.

Because why the heck not?

Chris says the idea was all down to Cameron, who was eight at the time.

Like many other girls, Reshma created a YouTube video to show viewers how to achieve them.

It starts off, as all make-up tutorials do, with cheerful music and a smiling girl in a pretty bedroom filled with twinkling lights.

But, unlike other girls, Reshma is the survivor of an acid attack, allegedly committed by her brother-in-law in 2014.

She lost her left eye in the brutal attack and her face is covered in scars from the severe burns. Her right… Read the full story

So many noisy sounds (Picture: Kickstarter)

Us humans are noisy creatures.

But, while the sounds of a clap or a sneeze remain the same around the world, our ways of expressing them are very different.

We burp in English, but elsewhere you might royh, brooo, rulps, gefu and bovs.

Charming.

These variations in different ways of expressing what is essentially the same sound fascinates James Chapman.

Oh hey there. Living your life in blissful ignorance? Nostalgic for a simpler time, when a great night was dancing with your friends while drinking a cup of Panda Pops?

Prepare to have your innocence destroyed and your life ruined.

Remember the Macarena? Turns out it’s not just a cheery, catchy song about loving live and yelling ‘something something something ayyyyy MACARENA’.

Nope. It’s a dark, desperate tale of a woman – named Macarena – cheating on her boyfriend while he’s off signing up to be in the army. With two of his mates.

While you and your significant other might not be hiding away a whole secret life like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, chances are you still have no clue how to properly talk to one another.

Psychotherapist Laura Young told the Huffington Post: ‘The number one problem – though I prefer the word challenge – in marriage is indeed effective communication.’

When humans were invented, they were designed to get up off their behinds and move; walking was born.

Sadly, the industrial revolution and the internet age have consigned walking to history.

Walking is now something people used to do, like playing croquet or listening to The Strokes.

Instead, humankind graduated to sitting: sitting on buses, sitting on trains, sitting in cars, sitting at desks, sitting on our asses.

Life. Oh life. Oh life. Oh life. Doo-doo-doo-doo.

Boy, you said it, Des’ree. Life is tough. Life is hard. Which is why so many of us suck at it. Every single day.

You would think that the older you get, the better you get at life, but it’s almost like the opposite is true.

When you’re born, life is tremendous, so tremendous that you don’t even remember it. When you’re a baby, you’ve got life locked down – smiling, eating, burping, crapping, yapping and gurgling are the order of the day.

Life becomes hard after you start to talk. And it’s all downhill from there.

Here are the 13 signs that you’re totally out of depth at life.

Not even a driving ban will keep this girl off the road. Although she can’t do much damage at 5mph.

Texas State University student Tara Monroe had her driving licence suspended after she refused a breathalyser test during a traffic stop.

After hearing of her arrest and ban for DWI, her dad drove all the way to her home in San Marcos and took her car away from her, leaving her with a bike to get to university and back.

But, Tara had a different set of wheels in mind: a bright pink, plastic, battery-powered Barbie Jeep.

Look, we’ve all fallen victim to the overwhelming power of peanut butter.

The temptation to dip our entire faces in a tub is just too strong. It happens to all of us. We’ve all emerged, dazed, from a peanut butter binge – confused, high on peanutty goodness, looking down at our peanut butter covered hands.

But this little girl gives into the ‘cover yourself in peanut butter’ urge in a new, better way: shifting the treat onto her baby brother. What a lucky toddler.

Gina Gardener Brown walked into find her daughter dutifully covering her little 18-month-old brother in an entire tub of peanut butter.
