And before you get your pitchforks and burn to me the ground for not promoting natural or inner beauty – please hear me out.

I do believe natural beauty comes from within. You can be the most beautiful person in the world but if you have the personality of a snail, then that can make you instantly ugly to a lot of people.

However, I also believe that if a person wants to change the way they look, especially if what they’re changing was making them insecure, then… Read the full story

This is Dru Presta, 21, from Nevada.

She’s just moved to LA to pursue her dreams of breaking into the fashion industry and showing the world that sexiness has no height restrictions.

Dru was born with achondroplasia – a form of dwarfism – and was bullied for years because of her size.

‘The way people reacted was not the best way for a child to be exposed to,’ she says.

‘Reno, Nevada, is really small so it’s very small in diversity.

Now, that campaign is here. And it’s blimmin’ glorious.

This week Illamasqua unveiled their take on a Christmas campaign – one exploring gender and expectations of beauty.

It stars Munroe, as we mentioned, alongside Rain Dove, both wearing all kind of bold, bright, sparkly makeup.

‘We are not afraid to talk about the complex issues of our generation,’ say Illamasqua. ‘Whether they be race, gender, age or the environment.

Giving up meat has never been particularly high on my agenda.

I love meat. I’ve eaten it my entire life. It’s delicious. While we’re at it, I love cheese too.

I never really expected to embrace the vegan lifestyle. If anything, with my favourite food being ribs, I was the ‘anti-vegan’.

But just a week after agreeing to get into shape on a fully vegan diet, I’ve found a new lease of culinary life.

For two months, I’ll be looking to add to my complete lack of muscle on a plant-based diet, having struggled to do so in the past.

Earlier this year, I trained for a boxing fight on a… Read the full story

‘What do they look like?’

Usually that’s the first question that gets asked when you reveal you’re texting/sexing/DMing someone new.

Let’s face it, whether you like it or not, looks play a huge factor when deciding whether to pursue someone. It’s even more heightened now that there are myriad dating apps focusing on the exterior.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that blind or visually impaired people can still have a love life.

But how do they navigate dating and relationships in our looks-obsessed society?

We spoke to blind and partially sighted people to sort fact from fiction.

Met Gala 2018’s theme is all about religion

The fashion world loves nothing better than a good dose of theatrics.

It’s second only to the Catholic church for a showmanship.

Which is why next year’s Met Gala is going to be so good.

Because the Costume Institute has just announced that the 2018 will be ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’.

It’s basically going to be a bacchanalia of black lace and Madonna-esque crucifixes isn’t it?

The whole thing is set to focus on the papal garb which is on loan from the Sistine Chapel sacristy – much of which has never been seen outside of the Vatican.

There are going to be around 50 of these ecclesiastical garments on show, as well as… Read the full story
