Art can really take your breath away.

Sometimes it’s so striking and intimate that it stops us in our tracks.

Jago Jacopo Cardillo is a sculptor who creates art that’s so lifelike, it’ll make you do a double take.

The Italian artist, 30, is an incredible self-taught sculptor who transforms marble and stone into intricate pieces and has won over thousands of people due to his talent.

Some of his creations include a caged elephant foetus, detailed hand sculptors, and even a portrait of the pope Benedict XVI.

Jago tells Metro.co.uk about his influences and inspiration and how he considers the process to be like a pregnancy.

Almost a third of us keep the lights on, apparently (Picture: Getty)

You know sex, right? Well, how do you do it?

How problematic is our coffee culture?

God knows we don’t want the details – far too delicate for our ways – but one thing we will ask about is lighting: on or off, we mean.

Research from prepayment energy supplier Boost says 29% of Brits choose to keep the lights on during sex.

So 29% of you get off on actually seeing the flapping? Good Lord.

Apparently Brummies are the most *cough* enlightened among us – with 41% doing ‘it’ in a blaze of glory.

There’s something you should know about Shudu, the dark-skinned model with 39,000 followers on Instagram: She’s not real.

Along with a male model, Nfon, Shudu is the digital creation of artist and photographer Cameron-James Wilson, crafted and posed using 3D imaging.

‘I was learning how to create 3D imagery for graphic novels and animations and I had the opportunity to create a model however I wanted,’ Cameron-James tells Metro.co.uk.

‘So I created the most beautiful woman I could.’

Shudu takes inspiration from a Barbie doll, called Princess of South Africa, along with models such as Duckie Thot.

The 10 best bridesmaid trends to look out for in 2018

If so, we may have found an easy job for you.

An advert has appeared on Childcare.co.uk from parents searching for a childcare professional to have the sex chat with their children.

Like many of us, Santosh isn’t too hopeful about her chances of finding someone to spend her life with.

Unlike the rest of us swiping through Tinder, however, Santosh’s reasons for her concerns are a little different: She’s so small that she’s often mistaken for a toddler.

Santosh Kumari is just 2ft 8in – that’s 33 inches – tall. She has tiny limbs and a wobbly walk, which make people think she’s a child.

Everything outside of her romantic life is going swimmingly. Santosh makes a living as… Read the full story

You know which hairstyle has been most unfairly vilified, despite its iconic status?

Which hairstyle completely changed the beauty game? The hairstyle loved by builders and Tina Turner alike?

The mullet, of course.

There’s nothing like a ‘business in the front, party in the back’ ‘do to really show how little you give a f*ck about…well, anything.

But if you thought mullets died a death in 1989, think again.

One small town in Oz, Kurri Kurri, has just spent the weekend celebrating the country’s first ‘Mulletfest’.

And boy, it did not disappoint.

Totally a thing (Picture: Metro.co.uk)

Man, I love fondling my penis.

As is well-documented on these very pages.

Other people fondling my penis is great too, since you ask, but that’s another story.

Yet even such a committed onanist as I must occasionally ponder whether it’s actually a force for good or ill in my life.

Could it be that squandering my seed, as all those joyless little NoFap weirdos insist on framing it, somehow diminishes my potential as a man?

And what if there’s a way to lay off the dolphin-flogging that doesn’t require willpower?

When an opportunity arose to try a male chastity device for a bit,… Read the full story

So, how about having some millennial pink lettuce for lunch?

Ever get the feeling that salad is distinctly unphotogenic?

Well, friends, hold on to your filters because pink lettuce is doing the salad bowl rounds and it’s as if it was made for Instagram.

Restaurants in NYC and London have recently started offering salads made with pink lettuce.

The bright pink leaves are Radicchio del Veneto, AKA La Rosa del Veneto, and while traditional chichory is purple, this particular variety is a light rose pink, thanks to special growing techniques.

It’s most commonly grown in Veneto (hence the name) but it’s also grown in California and Pennsylvania.

Farmers arrange the plants to grow mainly in the dark where sunlight can’t reach the stem… Read the full story

What if you could look at your calendar and schedule your CBT for the exact day it’d work best?

That’d be pretty dreamy, right? No more ineffective treatment, no more frustration when yet another therapy or medication doesn’t soothe your anxiety, and no more wasted time and money.

Sadly, we’re not quite at the point where we can be that precise in doling out treatment at the exact time it’ll be effective. But new research is taking us a little closer.

A new study, published in the international journal Psychoneuroendocrinology and funded by MQ: Transforming Mental Health, has found that women with anxiety who had low levels of the hormone… Read the full story

Tourist hot spot (Picture: Dave Anderson)

Most of us have had sex somewhere other than at home in bed at least once in our lives.

My own personal major outdoor achievement was a rather frantic session on a coconut shy at the seaside back in my twenties.

The stall was closed at the time, but I certainly discovered for myself that those coconuts are pretty firmly wedged into their cups.

I asked Metro readers about their most memorable al fresco experiences.

They didn’t disappoint.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where a lot of people believe men must be either gay or straight.

The reality is, sexuality isn’t that black and white.

Why I love being a bisexual man

I’m a bisexual man; living, breathing proof that some men can be attracted to more than just one gender.

However, not all men who have a sexual experience with other men are gay or bisexual – even some straight men are at it.

Enter the term brojob. A brojob is basically a blowjob between two men, where… Read the full story

GIRL ON ROMANTIC DATE IN RESTAURANT CHOOSING FROM MENU

For most people, eating out is a treat.

It’s more expensive than dining at home and, on the whole, restaurant meals are far denser when it comes to calorie content.

It’s dead easy to overindulge when you don’t have to cook and you’ve got a list of exciting sounding dishes in front of you.

One of the things about restaurant dining is that everyone expects you to eat well without caring about the health costs; traffic light nutritional guides are reserved for supermarket fodder.

Which is why you’d think that if places did start including calorie counts, people might take note. After all, some dishes are… Read the full story

Tips on cycling in the snow
(Picture: Ella Byworth for Metro.co.uk)

Cycling is bloody great – it keeps you fit, is often quicker than driving/public transport, and gets you some sweet vitamin D while you’re at it.

However, it’s not so fun when the weather turns. Cycling in the rain is miserable, as you get drenched, but cycling in the snow?

It can be extremely dangerous.

Of course, a light sprinkle of snow doesn’t have to stop you cycling to work or going on your morning ride, but there are some things to take into consideration.

No-one hates public transport more than me, and I love the endorphins from a morning ride to work, so… Read the full story

If we learned anything in 2017, it’s that sexual harassment and abuse at work is no longer going to stay silent.

The #MeToo and #TimesUp movement started with Harvey Weinstein, but it won’t stop until every person abusing their power is called out.

First it was Hollywood, then came the fashion industry.

As part of the world of fashion speaking out, model Emma Hakansson, 18, has shared her experience of working with a predatory photographer.

In an Instagram post, Emma shared how a photographer made inappropriate comments about her body, touched her, and coerced her into nudity.

How the bubbles in champagne indicate its quality

If you’re sick of hearing about Brexit already, there is one wet and fizzy glimmer of hope on the horizon.

Apparently, the pint-sized champagne bottle is set for a comeback after we depart from the EU.

Prior to our joining, pint bottles of the stuff were all the rage but were banned under Eu regulations back in 1973.

In fact, champagne pints were a favourite of Winston Churchill, who famously said that they were the ‘ideal size’ as they allow the drinker to have four full glasses rather than the six that come from the standard size bottles.

According to legend, the wartime leader got through… Read the full story

Not all women masturbate, and that’s fine: 6 women tell us why they don’t

Women explain why they’re not into it (Picture: Ella Byworth for Metro.co.uk)

Despite being equipped with a clitoris, the only human organ that’s sole purpose is to provide sexual pleasure, women have been socialised into feeling ashamed for masturbating.

While it’s crucial to dismantle the puritanical idea that masturbating makes you ‘dirty’ or ‘desperate’, it’s just as important to understand that it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

Some women masturbate, some don’t, and that’s absolutely fine, because sex positivity means respecting other people’s sexual choices, including those that don’t align with yours.
