Working from home seems to inevitably end with you on your sofa, dressed in coffee-stained tracksuit bottoms and a pyjama top.
If you haven’t got to go to an office, you don’t need to shower.
Hell, you barely need to get out of bed. It can be a real problem.
And it’s an issue that illustrator Tyler Feder knows only too well.
Her latest work celebrating ‘work-from-home fashions’ is too relatable. It shows a female freelancer wearing a range of classic WFH outfits, including ‘hole-y sweatpants I keep not throwing out because they’re so nice and long’, ‘pockets prob fille with used tissues’ and ‘sweater that’s basically a blanket’.
Why get married in a church or a poignant setting surrounded by peace and tranquillity, when you can shout ‘I do’ while on a bouncy castle?
That’s right, wedding-themed bouncy castles are now available.
But while fun is good, we’re not sure it’s the best thing for a wedding, especially if the bride is wearing a floor-length princess gown. But you know, it’s your day – you do you.
The guys at A Wedding Wonderland are taking wedding days up a notch with their giant inflatable white castle, adorned with flowers and large white curtains.
Losing socks in the washing machine can grind anyone’s gears.
Fortunately, one mum who’s sick and tired of it has shared her hack for how to avoid any more socks going missing.
Megsie Vincent, from Australia, admitted that her trick wasn’t ‘Pinterest pretty’ but it certainly helps her family avoid the missing sock tragedy that plagues so many of us.
Sharing her game-changing tip on a Facebook forum called Kmart Mums Australia, she revealed she bought a small mesh bag in which she drops all the socks going into the wash.
‘This is a laundry bag from Kmart and I’ve attached it with Velcro dots so that I can rip it off… Read the full story
A mother has been left outraged after her teenage daughter came home from a Loughborough branch of Boots with an eyeshadow palette which she deemed inappropriate.
46-year-old Angela Fitzsimmons was disgusted when she saw the ‘over-sexualised’ names given to shades on the palette, which was purchased by her 17-year-old daughter, Grace.
All 24 colours in the £12 Obsession Obsessive Eyes palette were labelled with titles such as ‘milf’, ‘foreplay’ and ‘sugar daddy’, and Angela was not amused.
‘Grace had been out with her friends and she brought home this palette which she bought with some birthday vouchers,’ explains mum-of-two Angela, from Shepshed, Leicestershire.
If you’re struggling to get off to sleep promptly, you might want to start doing some kind of after-work activity.
According to a new study, not having enough time to mentally switch off from work is the thing that’s stopping us from sleeping well.
Published in the American Psychological Association’s Journal of Occupational Health, the research has found that taking a break after work and doing something different is the key to a good night’s sleep.
That might be hard if you have kids or two jobs, but breaking up your day and getting out of work mode is crucial to a deep sleep.
Dr Caitlin Demsky of Oakland University and her co-authors asked 699… Read the full story
Remember when men thought that the ‘friend zone’ was a legit thing to complain about, because a woman liking you as a person but not wanting to have sex with you was apparently a disaster.
Well now there’s an even ickier imaginary zone that men apparently get put into by women. The ‘uncle zone’. An idea brought to prominence by Chris Rock on a recent episode of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Rock shared the story of how he decided that now he’s single he wanted to hit on Rihanna. (What must it be like to have the kind of confidence which leads you to believe that it’s being… Read the full story

Every pet owner tries to calculate how old their animal is in human years.
It’s essential to know what stage your fur baby would be at if they were human because that way you know just how baby-like your commands should be.
But if you’ve been calculating your dog’s age by simply multiplying every year they’ve been alive by seven, you’ve been wasting your time.
One human year isn’t equivalent to seven doggie years.
Our canine chums actually age faster during the first two years of their lives than humans do; that’s why your little pups seem to reach sexual maturity so soon.
Compared to us, dogs age more quickly at the beginning of their lives and lower towards… Read the full story
You know when you put a dress on to leave the house and it looks lovely, but a couple of hours later it’s uncomfortable as all hell?
Wel DressLily.com have brought that feeling to a whole new level with a dress that we’re pretty sure would be impossible to wear without accidentally flashing your bits.
Does the thought of going to work in the morning make your heart drop?
There can be any number of reasons why you no longer enjoy it – from the colleague from hell who makes your day suck to no longer enjoying the role and finding the work boring.
While most of us dream of telling the boss where they can stick their job and walking off into the sunset (or out of the office block) this dream cannot sadly become a reality for most.
Firstly, we all still need to eat and have a roof over our heads and that million… Read the full story
Summer’s just around the corner (apparently) and that can only mean one thing: Festival season.
No, we’re not talking about getting rat faced in a field of too-pull portaloos – we’re talking yoga, HIIT, workshops and nutrition talks.
This weekend kicks off a summer of wonderful wellness and fitness celebrations around the UK.
Whether you want to kick-start your summer workout plan, meet new fitness friends, learn a couple of new tricks to add to your existing regime, or just have a break from the everyday rat race, everyone can get something out of a fitness fest.
So without further ado, here are the best wellness weekenders coming up:
Ikea might have the best meatballs and provide hours of endless fun but it’s not known for its clothes.
That’s because the Swedish superstore has never sold any clothes…until now.
The furniture retailer is now teaming up with tailor William Hunt to create a bunch of unique, limited edition suits using Ikea textiles and fabric.
That means the prints you see on the suits have been inspired by items available at the store, like bed linen, wallpaper and chairs. And they actually look pretty rad.
Yoga can be an expensive hobby, which is frustrating when it’s something that should be accessible for everyone.
The cost of some yoga studios – especially in London – may put people off trying it in the first place, so if you’re someone who’s always wanted to try yoga but haven’t been able to justify the pennies, then listen up.
Lululemon and Psycle London are holding free yoga sessions in Covent Garden over the next couple of months and you’re all invited.
Mats are provided and will be rolled out in Covent Garden and you’ll enjoy an invigorating morning practice before you continue on with the… Read the full story
Ashley Graham, body positive influencer and model, has long been a darling of the plus-size community.
But it seems that she’s blotted her copy book with her new rrange, Ashley by Ashley for Rag and Bone.
Rag and Bone are a high end denim line who make jeans. The issue? They make jeans which only go up to a UK size 14. Which, as we all know, is not exactly plus sized.
Given that Ashley had made a career by promoting body positivity, beauty at any size and standing against fat shaming, it’s possibly not a surprise that fans are feeling let down.
He was talked back from the edge of Waterloo bridge by a stranger.
After Jonny left hospital, he launched a campaign with Rethink Mental Illness to try to find and thank the stranger, which resulted in him being reunited with Neil Laybourn.
Jonny believes much of his anguish back then was tied up with not feeling able to come out as gay, partly because of his religious upbringing.
He said: ‘I think I was hearing this devil voice because of my sexuality – (I believed) I… Read the full story
Day in, day out, you’ll get people questioning where you get your protein (tofu, nuts and beans, thanks pal), interrogating you about your overall health, and asking what you’d do if you were shipwrecked on a desert island with nothing to eat but a wild boar.
(Would you like me to retaliate with, ‘What would you do if someone put a gun to your head and said you had to choose to have sex with either your mum or your dad’? Yeah, didn’t think so, it’s a highly unlikely… Read the full story
When someone mentions Ireland, most people automatically think of Guinness, Dublin or St Patrick’s Day.
Hard-core fans of director George Lucas’ movie franchise will also mention Star Wars, as many important scenes were filmed here, on Michael Skellig Island off the coast of Kerry and on Malin Head in County Donegal.
Which is especially fitting as it is Star Wars Day on Friday, or as some people call it: May The Fourth Be With You.
But, there’s much more to Ireland than drunken shenanigans and movie references, especially along the Wild Atlantic Way — a 150-mile stretch of un-disturbed nature, beaches and dangerous cliffs — from Kinsale in the south to Muff, in the north.
Let me tell you why you should forget Dublin, and conquer County Donegal, instead.
