We’ve written many a story on mothers being slammed for breastfeeding their children in public.

One mother-of-three is standing up to the the breastfeeding-shamers with an epic photoshoot.

Nicki Kaylor, a 25-year-old photographer from Seymour, Tennessee, has created a photo series in which sees mothers breastfeeding their children while holding up signs containing phrases that have been said to them while breastfeeding in public.

Nicki tells Metro.co.uk that she put the series together in hopes of reducing the stigma against mothers breastfeeding when not at home.

A woman has been creating the most amazing Disney-inspired crochet blankets and we’re so ready to snuggle up in one and dream of Prince Charmings and talking mice.

Why women's clothes are actually pretty sexist

Carol Hladisk, from Wichita, Kansas, first starting crocheting as a hobby back in February of this year, but it quickly turned into a full-time job, alongside being a wife and a home-school mother.

Her first design came after having foot surgery. She had been stuck on the sofa for recovery and so she began crocheting and watching TV to pass the time.

For a while, she worked only off… Read the full story

Anyone with a hint of underboob cleavage will know the drill.

You hop out of the shower feeling fresh. You wrap yourself in a towel, pop down on the bed, and start blow-drying your hair.

Mum is brutally honest about what it's like to parent a child with ADHD

Then, the horror begins.

You’ve already dried off, so why does the bit under your breasts feel damp?

Ah. It’s sweat. Buckets of sweat collecting under the boob area. Great. You’re seriously considering taking another shower just to get rid of it.

Eye-opening animation explains why we need to pay much more attention to the clitoris

Ah, the clitoris. It may be such a tiny part of a woman’s body but it is the most powerful in terms of giving pleasure.

These Disney inspired blankets are perfect for all the lazy princesses out there

That’s not surprising, considering the clitoris has at least 8,000 nerve endings, which when heightened can go on to affect more than 15,000 other nerve endings.

So yeah, with that, and the fact it’s the only organ solely dedicated to giving you pleasure, the clitoris is pretty great.

‘What would someone who loved themselves do?’

That’s the mantra silversmith and stonecutter Bunny Lucille lives by (and a quote by author Teal Swan, if you were wondering).

How recreating an iconic illustrated pinup has helped one woman learn to love her body

She hasn’t always been brimming with self-love and confidence, mind you.

Instead, Bunny Lucille has learned to love her body through taking action. More specifically, she gave herself the project of recreating classic pinup poses from legendary illustrated character, Hilda.

Hilda is the creation of Duane Bryers. She was a pinup girl that stood out from the… Read the full story

Fancying a ‘curvy’ woman doesn’t make you a hero, so stop acting like one

Robbie and Sarah Tripp (Picture: tripp/Instagram)

I’ve claimed before that I don’t choose what to write about by seeing what other people are saying ‘aw’ to, and then trashing it.

Honestly, I don’t.

But often I see words like ‘adorable’ and ‘amazing’ being banded about and sit at my desk trying to wonder why those words are being so liberally applied to someone who’s doing something which, as far as I can see, is at best average and at worst, kind of shitty.

The dress has been widely mocked on Twitter, primarily for looking like the dress the mole women wear in The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (worth watching, imo), a dress… Read the full story

Parents: the summer holidays are upon us and they’re long and expensive.

I’ve got three kids, aged seven and under, and they eat SO much. We’re only on week two of six and I’m already sick of all the cooking and meal prep. And that’s not even to mention the extra washing up, floor sweeping and snack requests. So many snack requests!

Just yesterday, we wrote about a stunning woman who just so happened to look as though she could be the long-lost twin of Gigi Hadid.

But now, Instagram users are going crazy for a female bodybuilder who looks remarkably like the one and only goddess, Jennifer Lopez.

Seriously, Janice Gray looks so much like Jenny from the Block that we’re starting to wonder whether her feed is full of pictures of J Lo herself.

Parenting must have been easier a few decades ago.

From what I’m told, there was a lot of playing outside and riding a bike.

Sure there was a chance of licking some lead paint, but you didn’t need to worry about your child getting cyber bullied, or sexting other kids, or watching porn.

For my generation, watching some grainy porn on dial-up internet connection was a rite of passage. Sometimes it was funny, and sometimes it was confusing. Occasionally it made you feel uncomfortable.

I am a serious fan of tattoos, sternum tattoos in particular.

Not only do I think they add a little bit of character to your upper body, but they tend to give it some extra shape around your chest area.

Though honestly, I just love having a tattoo that can be both hidden away but also shown off when you wear a bikini.

The greatest thing about a sternum tattoo though? It’s that there is so much leeway for different shapes and designs. Whether you fancy something triangular, lower down… Read the full story
