When Rosa and Russo got married back in 1957, they didn’t think to have pictures taken.

Boohoo has released a super cheap makeup range

Hiring a photographer was seen as an unnecessary expense, and they were on a budget.

Rosa’s grandfather prepared the garden where the couple tied the knot. Her aunt made the cake. Her godmother sewed the dress. It was a simple ceremony that was all about love, not extravagance.

But 60 years, nine children, 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren later, it seemed a shame that Rosa and Russo didn’t have a single photo of the day they got married.

At other times, it’s just downright awkward and embarrassing.

When it comes to razors and deodorants, it’s always worth buying mens.

A man ate only potatoes for a year and lost 110lb

For some reason, male razors and deodorants are just better quality, more powerful and yet, somehow, cheaper.

PhD student Jo Thor noticed recently that in Superdrug (who we usually like, after they made the sensible choice about lowering the cost of the morning after pill) lady razors were considerably more expensive than man razors.

In fact while a pack of 10, single bladed, orange Bic razors cost £1, the packet of almost identical, pink (of course) single bladed razors was… Read the full story

There are some bodies we’re rarely shown in a romantic context.

Think of the last few rom-coms you saw, the sex scenes on TV, the celebrities you’re told to fancy – the majority will be made up of able-bodied white women who’d fit a designer’s sample size.

We’re seeing a more diverse representation of bodies in the media, from the models featured in Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty campaign to the huge success of Ashley Graham and Tess Holliday, but it seems like popular culture… Read the full story

I got in the shower one evening to wash my hair, and by the time I’d finished, my hair was floating in a puddle of water around my ankles.

Praise the power of potatoes. This man says he ate only potatoes for a year and lost 110lb as a result. Whoa.

We’ll be honest – we were more than a little skeptical when, back in the heady, carb-loving days of 2016, Andrew Flinders Taylor announced the launch of the Spud Fit project, which would see him eating only potatoes for a full year.

Meet Meredith Welborn and Sarah Hooton.

They’re two friends from Nashville who are moving in together at Southern Methodist University in Texas this fall (yeah, Americans share dorm rooms, FYI).

Girls transform dorm into outrageously plush pad that'll put your bedroom to shame

But they had to do something about the extremely generic dorm they were going to live in.

Luckily for the pair, Sarah’s mom’s an interior designer, and helped them completely deck it out to absurdly-plush levels.

Meredith told Metro US: ‘You can make your dorm look great on any budget. We got lucky on finding some really awesome deals for our room that we would’ve never been able to afford otherwise.

‘The best thing about shopping for your dorm is that all of the costs are split right down the middle! It makes planning a little tricky, but it’s nice to have another person helping pay for… Read the full story

A new hepatitis C drug costing ‘just’ £2,000-a-month for 18 months (£36,000) was ‘launched’ on the web with a fancy video and young people showing off the new ‘exclusive’ drug to cure hepatitis C.

Only available to British people, the ‘launch’ of ‘Just C’ was accompanied by a video with yellow fluid dripping down young people’s legs and out of their noses and mouths.

Hepatitis C affects around 215,000 people in the UK, the NHS says. The health service has been roundly criticised for ‘rationing’ the drugs to only 10,000 people as it is so expensive.

‘Some say £35,000 for our medicine is a lot of money,’ a Just C statement says.
