Nope, you need to spend at least two hours doing something super artsy. Like Mike Wakefield, who’s the latest guy to raise the bar on romantic gestures.
Mike Wakefield, a creative type from Newquay, decided to surprise his girlfriend with a pretty involved proposal, popping the question in the form of a 30ft doodle in the sand of Newquay beach.
He spent around 2 hours down on the beach with a rake creating his proposal art, writing ‘will you marry me?’ with some artsy squiggles, just to make it extra pretty.
