A 12-year-old girl has apparently penned a heartbreaking note following the death of her cat.
The note – which was posted through letterboxes in Ferntree Gully, just outside Melbourne, Australia – claims to be written by a 12-year-old named Brooke.
It explains that her cat has passed away, after returning home with a shaved back – although it doesn’t expand on how this led to its death.
Heartbreakingly Brooke states ‘You know what it’s taught me that adults are cruel.’, before finishing with the line, ‘I have just lost my best friend’
