Lee John Phillips is an artist who’s honouring his family in a truly touching, creative way. After his granddad passed away, Lee and his family were left with an old tool shed, filled with thousands of bits and bobs (technical definition).
Rather than just sorting things into piles of ‘into the skip’ and ‘sell on ebay’, Lee decided to turn the tools into a tribute to his late relative, starting #TheShedProject – a long-term series of incredibly detailed illustrations of every item found in his granddad’s shed.
He’s already drawn around 4,000 pieces, and has counted an excess of 100,000 total items left behind in the shed.… Read the full story
