Barbie meets the old masters. As you do.
Artist Catherine Théry has recreated some of the world’s most famous paintings, replacing the main male protagonists with, well, Barbie.
The French artist has replicated iconic artworks including Da Vinci’s The Last Supper, René Magritte’s The Son of Man and Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam.
According to BoredPanda, the pieces, which were exhibited in Paris in an exhibition called ‘Not the ones you think’, are meant to ‘raise questions about beauty, intelligence, and women’s place in society.’
