The summer is here! However, the sun is nowhere to be seen. All the plans you had to visit theme parks, zoos and petting farms have all gone down the drain.
But is that really such a bad thing?
I don’t know about anyone else but on a hot day I feel like I simply must ‘go outside.’ I drag the kids here, there and everywhere trying my best to be a good parent and provide them with round the clock education, stimulation and exercise.
So sometimes when it is wet outside, I am a little bit relieved. Because it is nice to have a guilt-free reason to stay at home with the children occasionally.
