Despite the general consensus that selfies are for chumps, it seems that we just can’t stop ourselves.
According to Ofcom’s 2015 communications market report, Brits took an astonishing 1.2billion selfies in the past 12 months.
The report states that 31 per cent of British adults admitted to having taken a selfie, with 34 per cent of selfie fans saying they take them on a daily or weekly basis.
Unsurprisingly, those aged 16 – 24 were the most frequent offenders, with 26 per cent saying they took at least one a week. In contrast 91 per cent of over 65’s claimed to have never snapped a picture… Read the full story
