Being a photographer can bring some great rewards, but it isn’t easy to get to the top and stay there.
Here’s a list of a few things that I wished I’d known before I started.
1. That you’ll go further if you have a ridiculous name like Finstav van Truff, or a single moniker such as Gerdy.
2. That being 5ft 9 isn’t quite tall enough.
3. That the Met office is total rubbish, and that it’s a waste of time constantly checking on the eve of a shoot.
You’d be better off forming a network of farmers and old people that you could just phone up.
