Everyone’s very shocked. They’re shocked because according to research conducted by Inside Housing magazine, 40 per cent of homes sold under the government’s Right to Buy scheme are being let out privately.
I’m not shocked at all though. Well, not at the stats at least. At so many people’s naivety though, yes.

Because it’s not just a case of people buying their council flats and renting them out for big bucks that’s the problem.
