London has a lot of things going for it – that fun game of trying to dodge crowds of angry people on Oxford Street, the comfort of being snuggled into a packed underground train with no ventilation and the pride of earning that fiver that might stretch to a pint.
But aside from those joys, life down South really pales into insignificance compared to living oop Norf.
Many surveys suggest that Northerners are far happier – with a recent study claiming that Yorkshire is the happiest place in Britain. And there are good reasons why those that live higher up on our quaint little island feel a bit better with their lot.
