London-based photographer Paola Paredes, 29, struggled to come out to her family for years.
It was only recently, through her photo project Unveiled, that she finally found the confident to sit her parents down, along with her sisters, and tell them ‘I’m gay’.
Using three cameras, she captured every emotion she and her family went through during the next few hours.
Paloa was raised a staunch Catholic in Ecuador, where her parents are still based.
