Attempts to create a new policy for interns via state legislature in Missouri have massively backfired.
Two politicians had been forced to resign after sexually suggestive text messages sent to a 19-year-old intern and two additional cases of sexual harassment came to light.
As a result, lawmakers brainstormed ideas on how to prevent similar situations happening again.
