Turning an innovate idea into a business is long, difficult but very rewarding journey. Here are some things I’ve learned along the way…
1. It’s harder than it looks…
It takes a huge amount of hard work to get a start-up off the ground. You’ll often have to work 60+ weeks and then give it some more.
2. …And it doesn’t get any easier
Even when you’ve got it all off the ground, the new challenges keep coming. Things like hiring the right people and keeping the momentum up keep you on your toes.
3. Being responsible for other people’s pay cheques is terrifying
Every decision you make has more consequences.
