A model has asked why it’s okay for people to shame her for being thin when they condemn fat shaming in the same breath.
Australian model Genevieve Barker has hit back at the double standards after a picture of her posted on photographer Brydie Mack’s Instagram page sparked a flood of cruel comments, with some writing that she looked ‘unwell’, ‘like a skeleton’ and should ‘eat a burger’.
One person wrote underneath the picture: ‘Bag of bones. Eat something.’ Another simply commented: ‘Gross’.
