I have 371 friends.
It’s not real though, as that is the number of my Facebook friends. My public page as a blogger has 3,500 likes, my Twitter feed is followed by 2,500.
We surround ourselves by an online cushion of friends, likes and followers, documenting our every move on social media and having endless virtual interactions per day, so why is it I am feeling lonely and disconnected?
