A new ranking of the UK’s top universities has seen Coventry overtake Edinburgh and York at no. 15 – the highest spot ever occupied by a former polytechnic.
Top honours go, as usual, to Oxbridge, with Cambridge in top spot, closely followed by rivals Oxford.
