You see at this house in Stratford, East London, you’ll be getting much more than simply a place to rest your weary head for your £800 a month. You’ll be getting the chance to join a real life women’s collective (which from the sounds of it, is pretty darn fun).
The ad, which states that the current tenants Sonia and Calu are looking to rent to a lesbian or lesbian couple, explains: ‘We are a pair of queer-environmental-friendly-flexible-vegetarian-keen-cyclists-free-spirits.
‘We are into movement meditation, diy, women empowerment, giving “rubbish” a second chance, menstrual art, body acceptance, poetry, and creative expression.’
The clincher though comes in the last paragraph, when the pair explain: ‘Wholefood shop in Stratford shopping centre only 10 minutes by foot.’
