British children’s literacy is in trouble, according to David Walliams.
With 9 and 10 year olds in England ranking 6th in Europe for their reading skills, the comedian has teamed up with Education Secretary Nicky Morgan in a campaign to get children reading again.
‘Few things can compete with the joy of getting stuck into a good book and I believe that is something no child should miss out on, he said earlier today.
