8 things nobody tells you about therapy

If you’ve been feeling pretty down, or aggressive, or anxious (and I’m talking more than what is deemed as the norm) and you’ve begun questioning whether there might be more to your emotions than you once thought, seeking help might be the answer for you.

Sometimes seeking help can be daunting – especially if you’ve watched a ton of films that represent it as something that is going to cost you your whole wage packet, or is going to lead you down a the route of medication.

A lot of films also refer to mental health as something that only takes place inside a mental institution. But that’s not the case. Not most of the time, anyway.
