Inspired by the Sonia Singh’s Tree Change Dolls – Bratz given makeunders with new wardrobes and some careful hand painting – Wendy Tsao has dedicated her creative powers to making children’s dolls a bit more inspiring.
Following Sonia’s lead, Wendy takes Bratz dolls, gets rids of their hypersexualised clothing, paints over their makeup, and transforms them into real life inspirational women.
Her Mighty Dolls turn the pre-owned dolls into figured of empowerment, based on Malala Yousafzai, JK Rowling, and Jane Goodall.
