Pop-up bar H2Only has landed in Shoreditch for TODAY, Friday 29 May, only.
Why the water only quencher? Why just for one day? To raise awareness and funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s H2Only Challenge, that’s why.
The challenge involves going teetotal for 10 whole days (2 -12 June) and drinking nothing but water. That means no coffee, no tea, nada.
Yes the bar is on hipster turf but there’s no sipping out of pretentiously-cool jam jars. The pop-up plays on minimal decor and features a lone cold water tap and stacks of cardboard cups. That is all.
