Sometimes the internet is a wonderful place.
It all started with some standard Twitter sexism. Journalist Milo Yiannopoulos decided he would be incredibly irritating by inventing #WorldPatriarchyDay. You know, to celebrate men and sexism. Like every day, really. But with a special hashtag.
Yiannopoulos had plenty of suggestions for how to mark the occasion, including ‘have a penis’, ‘cat-call at least five women’, and ‘impregnate something.’ Charming.
