Potty training is a happy event. Saying goodbye to nappies and flushing poos away rather than wiping and bagging them is a massive milestone.
Yet, the reality of potty training can be at best messy and at worst downright traumatic.
But too often as polite Brits we don’t feel comfortable talking about it.
But let’s change that. I asked my friends who have been there for their stories of potty training their children and they didn’t disappoint.
