When we get a pet, we have to accept that along with all the cute stuff, we’ll eventually have to cope with the very traumatic experience of its death.

The average healthy dog only lives to about 13 years, meaning outliving our pets is just a sad reality we have to deal with.

But there’s a new drug scientists are hoping will help to fight back against the way of the world. Or at least delay the horror a bit.
