Merticus is a 37-year-old antique dealer and vampire who lives with his wife in Atlanta, Georgia.
He believes he was born a vampire and says he drinks human blood to maintain his energy levels.
I put my cross on, got my steak and carried out an interview with a vampire to find out what they get up to on Halloween (and we should warn you that some of the discussion is quite graphic about drinking blood so discretion is advised).
