Forget stinky subways and rat-infested tubes, Moscow’s underground train stations are on another level.
And when we say another level, we mean it. We’re talking cut-glass chandeliers, marble columns and gold-framed frescos.
In fact, the stations are so opulent, you could be mistaken for thinking you’d wandered into a palace.
Canadian photographer David Burdeny was lucky enough to be granted special permission to enter the network after hours, and captured these stunning stations in all their super bling glory.
