The fact that women have to be scared to walk home alone at night is an awful, horrible thing.
Because it’s absolutely ridiculous that we have to walk around terrified that we’re going to get raped or murdered, knowing that – given exactly how often sexual assault actually occurs – we’re not even being overly-cautious, it’s just part of being a woman.
