Actress Rachael Farrokh has been battling anorexia for over 10 years. But, after she made a desperate plea for help to pay for treatment earlier this year, new pictures show how far she’s come.
In May this year, dangerously underweight at just 40lbs (less than three stone), Rachael posted a heartbreaking video on YouTube where she pleaded for people’s help. ‘I’ve never been ever wanting to ask for help,’ she said, ‘but I need your help.’
People donated to her GoFundMe page in their droves, raising almost $200,000 (£130,000), meaning she could pay her medical bills and get the life-saving treatment she needed.
