National Novel Writing Month is back for November – that’s 30 days in which would-be novelists commit to writing 50,000 words of a manuscript – otherwise known as NaNoWriMo.
This is an internet based creative writing initiative and support group that offers advice and help – mainly from the fact that while you sit there scribing alone it’s good to know that thousands of others around the world are doing exactly the same thing.
So if you’ve got a great story idea, some time on your hands and you’re thinking of taking up the challenge of writing your very first novel – because apparently we all have one in us – what can you expect?
