It’s the advertising trend you’ve probably noticed popping up more and more frequently over the last few years: all about empowering women through ‘real bodies’, reaction videos, and social experiments.
Sometimes, femvertising is brilliant, and powerful, and send genuinely great messages about being a woman in the modern world.
Femvertising works on our emotions, making us weep when they show women ‘realising how other people see them’ or ‘seeing their own beauty’, or feel powerful when we see women running, kicking, and smiling.
