Sometimes, you just need a good news story to remind you that it’s not all bad.
Which is why South African artist Jaco Haasbroek started The Good News project.
He takes classic local news headlines and sayings, and puts a positive spin on them. He then puts them on telephone poles and lampposts to put a smile on other people’s faces.
He got the idea one day when passing a poster about a lost dog – someone had printed the word ‘stolen’ across it.
